Ground Through Sound

Ground Through Sound is a 2-3 hour workshop which can be facilitated for groups of any size. No previous musical or singing experience is necessary. The intention of the workshop is not just to help us to be more physically present in our current reality and body but also through doing that to help us express ourselves more in truth with our unique voice in all its glory. Working with the throat - heart chakra connections and emotional/ vibrational body in sound we can begin to clear wounding that has stopped us from speaking from the heart. Unighting in ‘one voice’ we let go of separation and can find our common light. We will explore - Why our unique voice is such a powerful tool in translating and expressing the wisdom of our soul. -Perfecting the voice as a channel- releasing judgement around our voice to allow personal freedom and expression. -The power of ‘The Word’. Becoming more conscious of our choice of words, what they are creating, how we can communicate more assertively in love. A typical workshop includes -breath work -posture exploration -vocal technique -mantra / chanting - Song learning in parts (harmony) -A performance of sacred sound to help you to ground in all that has been experienced. Please note that each workshop will have elements that are unique to that group as I intuitively prepare the workshop after tuning in and connecting to the group. Past workshops have been held at Retreats, Mind Body Spirit Festivals, Day events, Yoga groups / circles/ sacred gatherings. Alexandra was trained in Opera at the Royal Northern College of Music as the ABRSM scholar. She has since released two albums of sacred sound 'Unconditional' and 'Voices of the Goddess'. She now works with sound to support healing and ascension in the mind, body and spirit. |
